A fun, family-friendly Chanukah Retreat in 2017!
On Erev Shabbat (Friday evening) participate in a fun Chanukah party; take part in the re-enactment of the original story of the Maccabees; have fun learning a few traditional dances; eat some traditional Chanukah food; enjoy fireworks and a beach campfire.
On Shabbat have a "Grab-n-Go" breakfast, and then leave to go skiing at Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho. Have pizza with everyone on the mountain in the afternoon then come back to camp and rest your tired muscles in the hot tub or swim in the indoor pool! For the climax of the weekend (and of
*Ski rentals, tubbing, lift tickets and transportation to and from the ski resort are your responsibility and those are not included in the cost of the retreat.
When: A weekend during Chanukah next year. Date TBA after we find the Head of the Year (Rosh ha'Shannah) this Spring.

An Erev Shabbat Chanukah Party; Shabbat snow-skiing at Schweitzer followed by a Heart Dedication Ceremony
Chanukah) you will want to dress up and attend the Heart Re-Dedication Ceremony where you will present your temple (your body and heart) to the King and the community of Israel. You will get to re-dedicate yourself to the original Owner of your house. This is a powerful Re-Dedication Ceremony!
